Boost LED Benefits
Is the Boost good for redness and inflammation?
We have seen many successful skin stories when treating redness and inflammation with our Boost LED devices, especially when used in combination with our Cleanse & Recovery Spray.
We would recommend completing the patch test prior to use, as requested in the user guide. Then start with 3x weekly treatments until the skin becomes calmer and stronger. At that point you can increase to daily use.
If I have redness and inflammation, should I use the Boost daily?
In a recent clinical study, we found 3x per week offered significant results but daily use was too much. Once the skin becomes calmer and stronger, usage can increase to 5-7 times per week.
What are the benefits of both short and long-term use?
Short term
After 10 minutes using our LED devices, your skin will feel plumped, hydrated and instantly refreshed. Regular treatments are clinically proven to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
Long-term
Consistency is key with LED: the more you use it, the more you gain. One session boosts cellular activity, but multiple sessions will offer visible results.
Our minimum recommended treatment programme is 3-5 days a week for 4-6 weeks, followed by regular maintenance treatments, throughout the week, according to your schedule.
The Boost has been designed for daily use.
Give it time
LED is not an overnight fix. Because it treats the skin from within, patience is required for the new cells to reach the surface and results to be visible.
LED boosts the lymphatic system, so don’t despair if a pesky blemish temporarily appears straight after your first one or two treatments. This is a sign that your skin is detoxing and won’t last long!
Sometimes, when treating pigmentation, the affected area can darken slightly as it’s being treated. This is because the pigmented cells move to the skin's surface before they naturally shed through the cell regeneration cycle.
